Wave Challenge 2011

Wave challenge 2011 was a indeed a good experience for both of out sent teams. It was tiring as well as fun.. Both Saberz United and 1Saberz played and came out losers after the first round but it was a good fight and we did our best but it was not enough due to inexperience. Every game is a valuable lesson, so i hope both teams learn something out from Wave. 

1Saberz had the most difficult group to fight with as they finish last in the first round, without a point after going up against the giants of floorball in Penang. Juggernauts Mercury, Juggernauts Koinonia and Balls of Fury steam rolled us but i can honestly say we did give them a bit of fight but in the end lack of focus and attention we lost to them to a untidy goal.. we did not that bad against a good team but it was hard to lose like this, anyhow we have to be perfect in that 8mins, there can be no mistakes if not, we will pay for it. we lost 0-3, 1-2 and 1-3 to our opponents. 

Saberz United had also a tough fight in their hands, going up against Juggernaut Athena, Bluebird and Spearhead. which they lost 1-2, 0-2 and they have drew the last game against Spearhead 1-1, which at the end was a goal somehow disallowed for us if not they would have won their first game, these games has also taught them that speed and reaction is very important, if u are a sec slower u can be dispossessed and ultimately pay the price, its hard to keep up with fast players if we are not fast enough, So i hope Saberz United will continue to stay united and smile at their defeat cz it wont be long Wave Challenge will belong to us. 

Thats a wrap for Wave Challenge, For those that played in Balik Pulau continue to press on and finish the race which we have started back in Sept 2010, Never Say Never , Stay United and be ONE, Committed and let Passion and Desire drives u to be a wholesome and skilled Professional Player!

Division 2 Game 1 : Saberz Elite vs Saberz Alpha

It was a fixed feeling for both teams to meet and play each other on March 19th, but things still, business needs to get done and both sides has shown their 100%. Elite came out with a 8-0 victory over alpha was not a win something which we are can be proud of or a great victory to be sunk deep into our mind, we still have much to work on for the remaining fixtures. Elite was determined to fight and bring the V home as they continuously pound Alpha in the whole 3 periods. Goals from Victor (5) Kah Heng, Adrian and Alex seperate the scorelines, good job from them. It was a tough scoreline for Alpha but in every game, winning & losing is part of competitive sports, and i trust that Alpha wil continue to be positive and fight on until nothing can given out anymore, they will continue to persevere and learn some experiences in the game. Both Elite and Alpha needs to learn how to have proper team work besides having good individual skills, goals comes from many passing movements and with good precision skill ends up with a goal, that is what we need more from both sides in our next coming matches. Good job from both sides and lets battle on the next !
